Class XI admission second-phase timeline rescheduled
Class XI admission second-phase timeline rescheduled
The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has rescheduled the timeline for the second phase of online Class XI admissions for the 2026-27 academic year.
The revised schedule was announced in a notice issued on Sept 28 to address complications caused by a large number of students failing to cancel their admission confirmation within the stipulated time and subsequently not completing admission.
Students who did not apply in the first phase, were not selected for any college, received final nomination but could not confirm or complete admission, or whose admission was affected by incorrect quota selection will be eligible to apply in the second phase.
According to the revised schedule, applications will be accepted until 8pm on Oct 1. Results will be published at 8pm on Oct 5.
Selected students must confirm their nomination by 8pm on Oct 8. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of their application and selection.
Migration results will be published at 8pm on Oct 9, while final admission will take place from Oct 11 to Oct 13.
Students must select at least five and up to 10 colleges in order of preference after checking available seats at their preferred institutions.
Students who applied in the first phase but were not selected for any college will not have to pay the Tk220 application fee again. However, they must log in to the admission website and complete the college selection process.
Other applicants have been advised to apply under quotas only if they meet the eligibility criteria.
