Professional Master of Disaster Management (PMDM) at DU
The University of Dhaka is now accepting applications for the 19th batch of the Professional Master of Disaster Management (PMDM) programme for the July-December 2025-2026 session.
Managed by the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, this 18-month programme is designed to equip professionals with expertise in climate change, GIS, and disaster governance.
Programme
- Duration: 18-month professional programme.
- Credit Requirement: 48-credit programme in total.
- Key Focus Areas: Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change, Climate Finance, Research Methodology, Sustainability, Resilience, GIS and Remote Sensing, Gender and Social Inclusion, Disaster and Climate Governance, Disaster and Development.
- Class Schedule: Classes will be held on Friday.
Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Requirement: Undergraduate degree in any discipline.
- Minimum Result: Minimum CGPA of 2.50 or 2nd class/division at all educational levels.
Important Dates & Fees
- Form Collection & Submission: 05 April – 15 May 2026.
- Admission Test: 12 June 2026 (Friday) at 10:00 am.
- Application Fee: BDT 1500 (USD 20 for foreign applicants).
