• Degree Awarded: Professional Masters in Environmental Planning, Management and Sustainable Development.
• Duration: 1.5 years (18 Months) across three semesters.
• Total Credits: 40.
• Class Schedule: Weekends (Friday: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm; Saturday: 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm).
• Facilities: Fully furnished AC classrooms with multimedia, Wi-Fi, and access to GIS, RS, and Environment Laboratories.

Entry Requirements

• GPA 2.50 out of 5.00 in SSC and HSC examinations.
• Second class or CGPA 2.50 out of 4.00 in a 4-year Bachelor (Honours) degree or equivalent.
• Alternatively, a 3-year Bachelor degree with a 1-year Master degree, or a 2-year Bachelor (Pass) degree with a 2-year Master degree from a recognised university.

Admission Process

• Admission Test: A one-hour test (MCQ and written) covering geography, environment, and development issues in the context of Bangladesh.
• Application Period: Forms are available from 15 April 2026 until the application deadline.
• Last Date of Application: 11 June 2026, Thursday.
• Written Test: 19 June 2026 at 3:30 pm at the Department of Geography and Environment, DU.
• Viva (Oral Examination): 20 June 2026 at 10:00 am.
