UNESCO announces Young Professional Program 2023

UNESCO has revealed the launch of its Young Professional Program 2023, offering a unique opportunity for the youth of Bangladesh to join the esteemed international organization. This initiative aims to recruit talented individuals at the P1/P2 level for positions in UNESCO’s Bureau of Human Resources Management in Paris and various field offices globally.

UNESCO has set the following criteria for applicants:

  1. Age Limit: Candidates must be under 32 years old as of December 31, 2023 (maximum). This means candidates must not have been born before January 1, 1991.
  2. Education: Candidates must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in disciplines such as education, natural sciences, social and human sciences, international cooperation and development, international relations, political science, management, business administration, finance, accounting, media, journalism, cultural policies, and development, among others, from a recognized university.
  3. Language Skills: Proficiency in English or French is required. However, candidates proficient in both languages will have an advantage.
  4. Competencies: Candidates must demonstrate UNESCO’s core values of integrity, professionalism, respect for diversity, and commitment to UNESCO’s mission. Previous relevant work experience will also be considered.

The application deadline is set for October 17, 2023. Interested candidates must submit their applications, including a CV, educational certificates, completed UNESCO information sheet, passport-size photograph, language proficiency certificate, birth certificate, and relevant work experience certificates, to the National Commission for UNESCO in Bangladesh via email at [email protected] with cc to [email protected].
