Hult Prize at Jahangirnagar University 2024-25 concludes

Jahangirnagar University hosted an extraordinary finale for the Hult Prize 2024-25, showcasing innovation and entrepreneurship. With over 150 teams initially registered, the competition progressed through three rounds, narrowing down to 15 teams, and ultimately, the top six finalists pitched their business ideas in the grand finale.

The event highlighted innovative solutions to pressing social issues, with the judges engaging in detailed discussions on the feasibility and impact of each idea. The competition wasn’t just about the BDT 30,000 prize pool but the chance to create real-world change. The winners earned the opportunity to represent Jahangirnagar University at the national level, competing against top teams from other universities.

After intense evaluation, the champion was Kanamachhi, followed by Hydrocarbon as the first runner-up and Climbers & Co. as the second runner-up. These teams impressed the judges with their sustainable solutions and social impact strategies. The prize-giving ceremony celebrated entrepreneurship and social innovation, with faculty members, mentors, and guests joining to honour the participants.
