Fardeen, who was having a fine time after his SSC, suddenly heard a scream from his neighbourhood.

He ran out to see what happened. “To my utmost surprise, I found out it was Shirin aunty who had a fit when she found out the SSC [Secondary School Certificate] result publication date was announced,” he narrates with amusement. “I mean… her freak-out was so intense, that I could hear it through my brand new noise cancellation earphones, the ones I got after months of emotional blackmail to my parents,” explains Fardeen being totally perplexed.

“I mean it was neither her nor her child’s results- who were done with SSC a while ago,” Fardeen chuckles. “Why would she become so serious about the results of me and my two friends in the apartment, along with her cousin’s child-someone I didn’t even know existed.”

This incident wrecked Fardeen’s post-SSC tranquility. He couldn’t play games or watch reels peacefully, as he would often get that scream echoing in his head. Fardeen wonders why she hadn’t joined politics as she cares so much for others. She was also deeply worried about Fardeen’s next career move, since Fardeen didn’t start studying “Fulkoli admission guides.”

Whenever she comes across Fardeen, she always reminds him how tough the University admissions are, how hard it is to get into affordable universities, though her son moved to Canada for higher studies a few years back.

“I mean I haven’t been into college yet and she keeps yelling at me how grueling it is going to be to manage a place at an open spaced campus. She is so visionary I must say,” Fardeen muttered.

On the day of the results, while a reporter was strolling through the girl’s school to collect news, he called Fardeen to know his results only to find out Fardeen was rushing to the hospital as Shirin aunty had fainted when she got to know Fardeen got GPA-5.

“Was it a golden GPA-5?”-The aunty was found whispering on the hospital bed later that day.
