BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT), in collaboration with its Career Development Centre, hosted a major Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony with ten leading industry partners on Wednesday, 19 November, 2025 at the BUFT Multipurpose Hall.

BUFT Board of Trustees Chairman Faruque Hassan attended the event as chief guest and signed the agreements on behalf of the university. Board of Trustees Member Mohammed Nasir and Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Engr Ayub Nabi Khan were also present, along with other distinguished guests.

During the ceremony, BUFT signed academia–industry partnership agreements with Team Group, Giant Group, Hameem Group, Babylon Group, Eco-Tex Limited, Fakir Apparels, Sonia Sweater Group, Purbani Group, Paramount Group, and Shasha Denim. The partnerships aim to strengthen collaboration to enhance practical learning, research opportunities, and career development for students.

The event concluded successfully with the participation of faculty members, staff, students, and administrative teams whose collective efforts ensured a smooth programme. BUFT expressed its appreciation to all involved, noting that the initiative will play a vital role in bridging the gap between academia and the textile, apparel, and fashion industries.
