Final preparations are underway for TEDxBangladesh Maritime University, themed “Pulse of Possibility”, scheduled to take place on 22 November, 2025 at Shaheed Moazzem Hall in Mirpur 14.

The event marks the first-ever TEDx conference at Bangladesh Maritime University, reflecting the institution’s growing emphasis on innovation, creativity, and youth engagement.

Duronto Bicycle is supporting the programme as platinum sponsor, while Mobil MJL Bangladesh PLC has joined as gold sponsor. Barobi Design is managing creative production, and Bank Asia is the strategic partner. Media partners include The Business Standard, Channel i, and Daily Nobobani.

Pixel A Production will serve as visual partner, with refreshments provided by SMC Plus, New Zealand Dairy, and Sezan Mango Fruit Drink. TBS Graduates will help engage student audiences. Ticketing is being facilitated through Tikkify, the official digital platform. Monalisa Sanitary Napkin is the gift partner, and Intelia will handle live streaming.

This year’s speaker line-up features national and international voices, including Dr Tonia Astrid Capuano, environmental scientist at the University of Dhaka; Hossain Mohammad Zahedi, founder of Freight Management Ltd; Dr Mashrur Saleqin, environmental law expert; and Nayem Hossain Soikat, chief executive officer of Dubotech Digital Ltd.

Also speaking will be leadership mentor and former government official A K M Abdul Awal Majumder; cartoonist and social activist Morshed Mishu; stand-up comedian Emdadul Haque Hridoy; travel vlogger Shurovi Yasmin; entrepreneur Tasnia Atik; and US-based humanitarian Joya Berlin. Musician Raef Al Hasan Rafa will close the event with a live performance.

Organisers said the programme will combine thought-provoking talks with music, art, and humour, turning the stage into a hub of ideas and inspiration. Seating is limited, and attendees have been advised to secure tickets early through Tikkify.
