Hult Prize Bangladesh holds campus organisers’ workshop in Barishal
Hult Prize Bangladesh organised the second phase of its nationwide initiative, “Elevate Bangladesh: the Hult Prize campus organisers’ workshop”, in the Barishal division on 5 December 2025.
The workshop was hosted at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU), with sponsorship support from United Finance and programme partnership from Qamarun Agro Farm.
The programme aimed to strengthen the capacity of campus organisers by providing strategic guidance, operational frameworks and practical insights to support the organisation of Hult Prize activities at the university level. Participants from several institutions in the region took part in interactive sessions focused on leadership, planning and execution.
The workshop began with an opening address by Arnab Samadder, deputy campus director of Hult Prize at PSTU. Formal sessions were inaugurated by Md Abid Shaharia, national community coordinator of Hult Prize Bangladesh. Members of the Hult Prize Bangladesh national team conducted sessions on organisational strategy, competition guidelines and best practices for campus engagement. The programme concluded with closing remarks from National Coordinator Md Aminul Islam.
A panel discussion featuring entrepreneurs from the agricultural sector was also held. Zobair Hossain Zian and Ikhtiar Uddin, founders of Qamarun Agro Farm, joined the discussion alongside national leaders of Hult Prize Bangladesh to share insights on entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainable business practices. The event formally concluded with remarks from Md Nazrul Islam, campus director of Hult Prize at PSTU.
Hult Prize Bangladesh thanked the organising committee of Hult Prize at PSTU for their support and hospitality. Organisers said the initiative reflects the organisation’s continued efforts to promote student entrepreneurship and leadership development across the country.
