Fresh Anonna hosts Hult Prize at Gazipur Agricultural University
Fresh Anonna presents Hult Prize at Gazipur Agricultural University 2025–26, powered by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Gazipur Agricultural University (GAU), successfully concluded its Grand Finale on 13 January 2026 at the Begum Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the university.
The event celebrated youth-led innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable business solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The grand finale marked the culmination of a two-month competitive journey that included capacity-building workshops, intensive mentoring sessions and multiple evaluation rounds. The event brought together students, academicians, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, judges and media representatives, creating a dynamic ecosystem of innovation and impact. More than 650 participants attended the programme.
A total of six finalist teams presented their business ideas at the final round. The teams were Team Avenlo, Team Carbodit, Team Ecofins, Team ResqHarvest, Team Cornova and Team Celluthea. Each team showcased innovative, scalable and socially impactful solutions addressing real-world challenges.
Following a rigorous evaluation process by the judging panel, Team ResqHarvest emerged as the champion of Hult Prize at GAU 2025–26. Team Avenlo secured the position of first runner-up, while Team Carbodit was declared second runner-up. The champion team will represent Gazipur Agricultural University at the next stage of the national Hult Prize competition. In addition, Team Avenlo received the Fresh Anonna Innovation Award for presenting the most innovative business idea.
The event was supported by a wide network of partners. PRAN served as the food partner, Channel 24 as the TV and media partner, and The Business Standard as the print and online media partner. TBS Graduates joined as the youth engagement partner, while Daily Janakantha participated as the newspaper media partner. Other partners included The Internet Today (digital media partner), Agro Trends (community engagement partner), GAU IEDC (organising partner), Chitraprova (photography partner), GAU Insider (campus engagement partner), and GAU IT Society and GAU NCSC as club partners.
Over the years, Hult Prize at Gazipur Agricultural University has gained national recognition as one of Bangladesh’s leading student entrepreneurship platforms, ranking among the top 25 percent of campus programmes in Central and South Asia. The 2026 grand finale further reinforced GAU’s position as a growing hub for innovation, leadership and impact-driven entrepreneurship.
