Oxford International School successfully organised its Annual Sports Day 2025–26 on Friday, 30 January 2026, at the Government College of Physical Education, Satmasjid Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka. The event brought together students, teachers, parents, and guests to celebrate physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The programme was graced by Surayya Akhtar Jahan, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development, as the Chief Guest. In her address, she highlighted the importance of sports in shaping confident, disciplined, and resilient individuals alongside academic achievement.
Students from various grades participated enthusiastically in track and field events, team games, and drills, showcasing energy, coordination, and teamwork. The event reflected the school’s commitment to holistic education, where physical development is valued alongside intellectual growth.
Senior members of the school management, faculty, and staff were present to encourage participants and ensure the smooth conduct of the programme. The day concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, recognising outstanding performances and inspiring students to excel both academically and athletically.
