Chalamet shares first look at ‘Dune: Part Three’
Timothée Chalamet has shared the first look at Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi finale, Dune: Part Three, ahead of its scheduled release this December.
Taking to Instagram, the actor posted an early glimpse of his return as Paul Atreides. Based on Frank Herbert’s 1969 novel Dune Messiah, the upcoming film will explore the fallout of Atreides launching a holy war across the galaxy at the end of the second instalment.
The concluding chapter will feature expanded roles for Florence Pugh, Léa Seydoux, and Anya Taylor-Joy, who made brief appearances in the previous film. Series regulars Josh Brolin and Jason Momoa will also return, joined by new cast addition Robert Pattinson as the villain Scytale.
Confirmed by Legendary Pictures in August 2024, the finale follows the commercial and critical success of Dune: Part Two, which grossed over $714 million globally and secured two Academy Awards. The third film is set to clash at the box office with Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday on 18 December.
