Among European countries, the Netherlands offers excellent scholarship opportunities for international students. The University of Twente is currently offering scholarships for the 2026–27 academic year. Talented students can apply for this scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree.
The application deadline is 1 May 2026.
The University of Twente was originally established in 1961 as Technische Hogeschool Twente (THT). Following changes in Dutch academic education law, the institution was officially renamed the University of Twente in 1986.
Benefits
Students selected for the scholarship will receive financial support ranging from €3,000 to €22,000 for one year.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be admitted to a Master’s program at the University of Twente starting in September 2026
- Have a valid student ID number
- Demonstrate English proficiency:
- IELTS score of at least 6.5, or
- TOEFL score of at least 90
Application Process
Applicants must first apply for a Master’s program at the University of Twente. After receiving a conditional admission offer, they can then apply for the scholarship using their student ID number.
