‘GolfHouse Diplomatic Cup 2026’ set to bring diplomats, corporate leaders together
The GolfHouse Diplomatic Cup Golf Tournament 2026, presented by Baraka Group and Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd, will be held today (2 May) at Jolshiri Golf Club in Purbachal, bringing together members of the diplomatic and corporate communities for a day of sport and engagement.
Jointly organised by GolfHouse and Corporate Tour, the invitation-only tournament is positioned as a platform for sports diplomacy. Ambassadors, expatriates, corporate leaders and golfers are expected to take part, reflecting the growing use of golf as a medium for professional networking and cross-cultural exchange.
Baraka Group and Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd have joined as main sponsors, while InterContinental Dhaka and Turkish Airlines are supporting the event as platinum partners.
Supporting partners include Ray White Real Estate, Nazmul’s Luxe Auto, Walton Fan and Richman. Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport by IHG has come on board as the putting contest partner. Brüvana and Savoy Ice Cream will provide hydration and ice cream support respectively. Sundora Sport has been named gift partner, Drinkin’ as coffee partner and Rovast Lab as IT partner.
The event is also supported by media partners including Ekhon Television, The Business Standard, Daily Banik Barta, Daily Jaijaidin, The Graduates and GolfNewsTV.
Organisers said the tournament aims to strengthen engagement between diplomats and corporate leaders in an informal setting, using golf as a shared platform. The event is part of the broader Corporate Tour series, which promotes the integration of golf into corporate culture while emphasising discipline, etiquette and leadership.
Alongside the main competition, the programme will include activities for non-golfers, such as putting contests and driving range sessions. The event will conclude with a closing ceremony followed by lunch.
With a strong field and partner support, the GolfHouse Diplomatic Cup is expected to become a regular fixture in Bangladesh’s sporting and corporate calendar.
