“Pubali Bank PLC Presents Innoventure Season 01, powered by Sheltech,” organised by the BUP Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club (BUP EIC), is set to bring together undergraduate students from across Bangladesh in a national-level business competition focused on turning ideas into execution.

Designed as a dual-track competition, Innoventure Season 01 features both an Innovation Track and a Venture Track, allowing participants to either solve real business problems or develop and pitch scalable startup ideas.

The Innovation Track will centre on case-based challenges, requiring teams to analyse business scenarios, generate strategic insights and present practical solutions. In parallel, the Venture Track will guide participants through building original business ideas, refining them through multiple stages and delivering investor-ready pitches.

The competition will progress through several rounds, combining submissions and live presentations. It will also include a workshop and an intensive bootcamp aimed at strengthening strategy, execution and communication skills. The journey will conclude with a grand finale on 9 June, where top teams will present before a panel of industry experts.

Registration for the competition will remain open until 8 May. The event is open to teams of two to four undergraduate students from any discipline, including cross-university participation.

Participants will compete for a total prize pool of Tk300,000, with Tk175,000 allocated for the Innovation Track and Tk125,000 for the Venture Track. In addition to financial rewards, participants will gain mentorship, networking opportunities and hands-on exposure to business strategy and startup development.

Organisers said the initiative reflects a broader vision of fostering a nationwide ecosystem of problem-solvers and innovators by combining structured challenges with industry engagement.

As its inaugural edition unfolds, Innoventure Season 01 aims to position itself as a platform for the next generation of entrepreneurs to transform ideas into real-world impact.
