A delegation from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Dhaka on 30 April 2026 to discuss potential avenues for strengthening academic and research collaboration between Bangladesh and Kosovo.

The AIUB delegation was led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam, who was accompanied by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman and Public Relations Officer Saadi Islam.

During the meeting with His Excellency Mr. Lulzim Pllana, Ambassador of Kosovo to Bangladesh, both sides held constructive discussions on possible joint academic and research programmes between AIUB and universities in Kosovo.

The dialogue also explored opportunities for faculty, student and researcher exchange programmes aimed at promoting cross-cultural academic engagement and knowledge sharing.

AIUB extended an invitation to the Ambassador to visit the university and expressed strong interest in showcasing its academic and research initiatives.

The meeting marks a positive step towards expanding international academic partnerships and reflects AIUB’s continued commitment to global engagement in higher education.
