TEDxChittagongUniversity has successfully hosted its TEDx event themed “Rising Beyond” on 14 May, 2026, at the University of Chittagong.

The event featured an impressive line-up of six speakers.

Mubarak Ahmed Khan, a scientist and inventor of the biodegradable Sonali Bag.

Antik Mahmud, a renowned content creator and cartoonist.

Dr Sakia Haque, a physician, activist, and the first woman to travel all 64 districts of Bangladesh by motorcycle.

Syed Ridwan Hossain Bipro, founder of Stand Up Dhaka and stand-up comedian.

Muslim Chowdhury, a former Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh.

Umme Maisun, an educator, content creator, and author from Chattogram, who began teaching English online at the age of ten.

Each speaker left a lasting impression with stories of innovation, bravery, leadership, humour, and optimism that inspired everyone present at the event.
