BUFT team wins national title at Hult Prize Bangladesh Nationals 2026
Team Denim Revive from the BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) has been crowned National Champion at the Ispahani Presents Hult Prize Bangladesh Nationals 2026, held on 8 May 2026 at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET).
The event was co-sponsored by Trust Bank PLC and organised by Hult Prize at KUET and Spectrum, a professional skill development club of KUET. The national summit brought together 60 university teams from across Bangladesh, all competing with social enterprise ideas aimed at addressing global challenges.
After advancing through multiple competitive rounds, Team Denim Revive secured a place among the Top 8 finalists before ultimately winning the national title. Their project earned them a “golden ticket” to the Hult Prize Digital Incubator, where they will represent Bangladesh on the global stage.
The summit was led by A S M Jubayer Mufid as Chief Organizer, Nahiyan Emdad Lamim as Chief of Staff, and Moshiur Rahman Shams as Chief of Operations. National coordination was overseen by Md Aminul Islam, Hult Prize Bangladesh National Coordinator, and Md Abid Shaharia, National Community Coordinator.
Hult Prize Bangladesh Nationals 2026 was supported by the Ispahani Group as title sponsor and Trust Bank PLC as co-sponsor, both recognised for their continued support for youth innovation and entrepreneurship.
The closing session was attended by Mohammad Mashud, who served as chief guest and encouraged participants to continue developing impactful social enterprises.
Judges evaluated the teams through multiple rounds of pitching and deliberation before selecting the champion team.
As winners, Team Denim Revive will now receive mentorship, training, and incubation support through the Hult Prize Digital Incubator to further develop and scale their initiative on an international platform.
