The Remians Cultural Club, the official cultural organisation of the students of Dhaka Residential Model College, has formally announced the launch of “Cultural Dialogue,” a new online talk show initiative. The programme aims to advance cultural awareness, encourage social coexistence, and foster meaningful intellectual discussions on the evolving cultural landscape of Bangladesh.

The initiative has been conceived and led by Nahiyan Zaman Sammo, President of Remians Cultural Club and Cultural Prefect of Dhaka Residential Model College. Through engaging conversations featuring student cultural leaders and emerging young voices, the platform seeks to provide an inclusive forum for exchanging perspectives on contemporary cultural issues and the enduring significance of Bangladesh’s artistic, literary, and intellectual heritage.

“Cultural Dialogue” reflects the Club’s ongoing commitment to nurturing cultural consciousness among students and promoting informed, respectful, and constructive dialogue on issues shaping the nation’s social and cultural identity.

The inaugural episode is scheduled to be broadcast on Thursday, 21 May, 2026, at 9:30 PM via the official bulletins and digital platforms of Remians Cultural Club.

The first episode will feature a discussion between Walid Hassan Rahim, President of the Dhaka College Cultural Club, and Lamia Sikder Ruha, Assistant Central Club Prefect of the Adamjee Cantonment College Kothashilpo Club. The conversation will focus on the theme, “Where Do We Stand Amid the Clash Between Modernity and Tradition?”, exploring the relationship between modern values and traditional cultural foundations in contemporary Bangladeshi society.

Commenting on the initiative, Nahiyan Zaman Sammo said that culture is a vital force in fostering mutual understanding, social harmony, and national cohesion. He expressed the hope that “Cultural Dialogue” would become a meaningful platform for critical reflection and constructive conversation, inspiring young people to engage more deeply with the cultural realities and aspirations of Bangladesh.

Through the launch of “Cultural Dialogue,” Remians Cultural Club reaffirms its dedication to promoting creativity, cultural literacy, enlightened discourse, and social harmony within the student community and beyond.
