The competition provided a platform for students to demonstrate creativity, confidence and effective communication through competitive presentations, according to a press release.

Lt Col Khandoker Mahmud Hossain, SPP, psc (Retd), Registrar of Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology; Dr Rama Islam, Dean; faculty members; judges; and sponsor Shahid bin Khair, Founder and Managing Director of ACT EduVisa, were present.

Participants exhibited communication, critical thinking and presentation skills throughout the competition.

The club stated that the programme reflects its commitment to developing students’ leadership, confidence, and professional skills.

The BAIUST Language Club expressed appreciation to Club Advisor Kazi Shahidul Islam and Club President Md Wasik Arif Khan for their guidance and leadership in organising the event.

The club also acknowledged the support of its co-advisers, executive board members, volunteers and participants.

The team from the Department of English was declared the champion, while the team from the Department of Business Administration was named the runner-up.

The event concluded with a session that encouraged students to further develop their presentation and public speaking skills.
