Supply Chain Alliance (SCA), Bangladesh’s first student organisation dedicated to supply chain management, has received a record 853 applications for its flagship recruitment campaign, Procurement ’26.

The applications came from students of the 31st and 32nd batches of the Faculty of Business Studies at the University of Dhaka, marking the highest number of applicants in the organisation’s history.

According to the organisers, the response nearly doubled their projected participation and set a new benchmark for student engagement.

They said the strong interest reflects the growing popularity of supply chain management among university students and the increasing recognition of SCA as a platform for practical learning, leadership development and industry exposure.

SCA officials expressed gratitude to the organising committee and volunteers for successfully conducting the recruitment campaign and thanked all 853 applicants for their participation.

The applicants will now advance to the next stages of the selection process.

Founded to promote supply chain excellence among students, SCA continues to provide opportunities for aspiring professionals while encouraging greater engagement with the field through student-led initiatives.
