Chittagong University Career Club (CUCC), the central club of the University of Chittagong, organised its General Member 9.0 Orientation on 25 August to welcome its new members.

Held at the BBA Auditorium of the university, the programme formally introduced the new members to CUCC’s activities, organisational structure, different wings and upcoming initiatives.

The event began with the national anthem, followed by opening remarks from General Secretary Umme Humayra Saika Afsar and an address by President Tanvir Hossain. The president also delivered a presentation outlining the club’s activities and future plans.

Moderator Afzalur Rahman and Dean of the Faculty of Social Science Professor Dr Md Enayet Ullah Patwary also addressed the gathering. Assistant Organising Secretary Md Golam Moheuddin and Md Tajim Chowdhury encouraged the new members to focus on skill development, leadership and active participation in organisational activities.

Former CUCC office-bearers, including Rafsan Hossain Alvee, Mozahidul Islam Selim, Sabbir Hossain, Mehedy Hasan Robin and Tushar Nath Antu, shared their experiences and advice with the new members. Founding President Shahriar Alam also attended the programme.

During the formal segment, appointment letters and ID cards were handed over to 15 general members, marking the beginning of their organisational journey with CUCC.

The programme was hosted by Nushaba Rahman, Shewasheer Mohammad Sami, Tajbiul Ahsan, Samia Shakila, Rayhan Bahadur and Zenith Iqbal.

The organisers expressed hope that the new members’ enthusiasm, talent and active participation would contribute to strengthening CUCC’s activities in the coming days.
