University of Dhaka’s Department of Marketing will host Marketing Sales Carnival 2026 on 11–12 November, giving students practical sales experience and visitors opportunities to explore products from established and emerging businesses.

Organised by the department’s BBA 28th batch, the carnival will run from 9am to 5pm each day at the Faculty of Business Studies premises, according to the press release.

The event will take classroom learning into a retail setting, with students working as salespeople, engaging directly with customers, presenting products, identifying consumer needs and turning conversations into sales.

Visitors can explore brand showcases, watch live product demonstrations and browse a range of branded products. The organisers have invited visitors to shop, support student initiatives, interact with brands and enjoy the event with friends.

Stall partners include Nabil Group, Mithai, Bashundhara Group, Advanced Chemical Industries PLC, Square Toiletries Limited, Meghna Group of Industries, Mr Noodles, Matador, Kazi and Kazi Tea Estate Limited, PRAN and Abul Khair Group.

Other partners include New Zealand Dairy Products Bangladesh Limited, Jamdani from Its Root, Bogurar Doi, SnapNKeep, Preci, Suchoitri, Tulysporsho, and Goldsands Hotels and Resorts.

Shehely Parvin, professor in the Department of Marketing and convenor of the carnival, said, “Since 2015, Sales Carnival has been a longstanding tradition of our department. You are all warmly welcome to celebrate, participate, and become a part of this legacy.”

The organisers said the partners’ participation would help students gain practical experience while offering visitors an engaging shopping and brand experience.
