American International University-Bangladesh signed an insurance agreement with Protective Islami Life Insurance Limited at the AIUB campus yesterday, 27 April.

The agreement was signed by Professor Dr Tazul Islam, dean and acting treasurer of AIUB, and Dr Kishore Biswas, chief executive officer of Protective Islami Life Insurance Limited, on behalf of their respective organisations.

AIUB Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Abdur Rahman attended the signing ceremony.

Protective Islami Life Insurance Limited Chief Financial Officer Md Sohidul Islam and Deputy Manager Md Alamgir Sikder were also present, along with senior officials from AIUB.

Under the agreement, group insurance benefits will be provided to all management members, faculty members, officials and staff of AIUB.

AIUB said the initiative reflects its commitment to employee welfare and financial security.
