This year’s Diana Award celebrates four exceptional young Bangladeshis for their inspiring contributions to creating lasting change in their communities.
Adiba Binte Ahmad Tuba, 15, started Esho Pashe Darai Foundation at just 13, focusing on poverty alleviation and education. From winter clothing drives to Ramadan food distributions, her journey proves how small acts of kindness can create ripple effects in society.
Tamzid Rahman, 17, founded BloodLink Foundation, a peer-to-peer blood donation platform, after losing his cousin to thalassemia. With over 2,500 donor-recipient connections and 950 active donors, his initiative is saving lives and fostering a culture of blood donation across Bangladesh.
Shawon Mahmud, 24, is the mind behind BigyanPriyo, the largest Bengali science education platform. Even after a cyberattack erased his work, Shawon rebuilt the platform to reach 1.5 million students worldwide, inspiring a new generation of science enthusiasts.
Jawad Araf Khan, 24, created Trio Business Cubers to fight youth unemployment. His free training sessions have equipped over 30,000 young people with business skills, and his live shows connect Bangladeshi youth with global experts, empowering them to dream bigger.
The Diana Award is one of the most prestigious awards that recognises young people worldwide for their extraordinary contributions to social and humanitarian causes.
