DU Career Club organises ‘Study Abroad Expo 8.0’ at Dhaka University
The Dhaka University Career Club successfully organised its flagship event “Study Abroad Expo 8.0” on 13 May 2026 at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) Auditorium of University of Dhaka.
Held from 10:00am to 5:00pm, the day-long event brought together students interested in pursuing higher education opportunities abroad and provided guidance on university applications, scholarships, and visa procedures.
The expo aimed to connect aspiring students with education consultancies and industry experts to help transform uncertainty about studying abroad into informed decision-making through consultations and expert advice.
Among the print and online media partners were The Business Standard and TBS Graduates. Beverage partners included Shezan Mango Fruit Drink and Dairyland Lassee.
Participating stall partners included KMF Global Education Ltd., Student Career Consultancy, NWC Education, H&I Council, Education Connect, Education@, StudyNet, EN Global Education Ltd., PacAsia, and Keeron.
The opening session began at 11:00am with DUCC President Dewan MD Madhurjjo, General Secretary Rafid Bin Reazuddin, and representatives from partner organisations releasing white pigeons as a symbolic gesture representing peace, prosperity, and hope for the future.
Throughout the day, participating agencies showcased study opportunities abroad while offering consultations and guidance to visitors interested in overseas education.
The closing ceremony began at 4:30pm under the supervision of DUCC Assistant General Secretary Musarrat Jahan Esha. During the session, souvenir crests were handed over to participating partners by DUCC President Dewan Md Madhurjjo and General Secretary Rafid Bin Reazuddin.
In his closing remarks, Dewan Md Madhurjjo thanked stakeholders, organisers, and members of the executive committee for successfully arranging the event and expressed hope for an even larger “Study Abroad Expo 9.0” in the future.
