Dhaka University Management Club (DUMC) has announced the launch of “Shamim Group Presents InkWorks: A Logo Design Challenge”, a national-level online competition inviting undergraduate students from across Bangladesh to design the official logo of Shamim Group.

The competition aims to provide young creatives with an opportunity to contribute to a real corporate brand identity while demonstrating their creativity, originality, and strategic design thinking on a national platform.

Organised by DUMC, the initiative reflects a growing emphasis on connecting academic talent with industry engagement.

Under the challenge, participants are required to create an original and professional logo that reflects the vision, identity, and future aspirations of Shamim Group. From the pool of submissions, the organisation will select one design as its official corporate logo.

The competition is open to undergraduate students across the country, with participation limited to individual entries. Team submissions will not be accepted, ensuring a focus on personal creativity and independent design capability.

According to the organisers, InkWorks is intended not only as a competition but also as a platform to nurture innovation and give students exposure to real-world branding processes. The event will also offer an attractive prize pool to encourage participation from aspiring designers.

Dhaka University Management Club, a student organisation under the Department of Management at the University of Dhaka, regularly organises initiatives aimed at fostering leadership, creativity, and professional development through competitions, workshops, and collaborative industry engagements.
