Dhaka International University (DIU) will host “DIU Cultural Fest 2.0” at its old campus on 28–29 October, 2026, to promote students’ creativity, cultural participation and talent.

Organised by the Dhaka International University Cultural Club, the two-day festival will also mark the club’s second anniversary, according to a press release.

The programme will feature an interdepartmental cultural competition, a Boishakhi fair and other activities for students. The competition will give participants from different departments an opportunity to showcase their talents, while the fair will offer stalls, food and entertainment.

Since its inception, the club has worked to engage students in cultural activities, nurture emerging talent and encourage a supportive cultural environment on campus. The festival forms part of these continuing efforts.

Organisers said the event aims to help students develop leadership skills, teamwork and creativity alongside providing entertainment. By bringing students from different departments together, it also seeks to encourage cultural exchange and strengthen ties across the university.

The club hopes the festival will strengthen the university’s cultural identity and provide a wider platform for students to showcase their talents.
