The FBS Music Wing at the University of Dhaka hosted “Boishakh Utsob 1433” on 14 April 2026 at the Faculty of Business Studies premises, marking the Bengali New Year with a vibrant celebration of culture and music.

This year’s event also commemorated the 10th anniversary of the FBS Music Wing, reflecting a decade of musical engagement, shared experiences and contributions that have strengthened the club’s cultural identity.

The programme began at around 2:00 pm and drew students, alumni and faculty members, gradually turning into a lively gathering. The celebrations continued into the evening, capturing the festive spirit of Pohela Boishakh on campus.

Members of the FBS Music Wing performed on stage, showcasing their musical talent and adding a personal dimension to the event.

The highlight of the programme was a live performance by the band Nemesis, which attracted a large audience and energised the crowd, with attendees actively participating in the performance.

Organisers said the event successfully brought together the university community in a celebration of tradition, music and collective spirit.
