JU Career Club holds AGM and announces 11th Executive Committee
The Jahangirnagar University Career Club (JUCC) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Committee Handover Ceremony on 20 June 2026 at the Seminar Room of Zahir Raihan Auditorium, Jahangirnagar University.
The event brought together club members, students, and guests to review the organisation’s activities, reflect on its progress, and formally announce the transition to its 11th Executive Committee.
The programme was attended by the club’s advisor, Mahade Hasan.
Since its establishment in 2014, JUCC has been engaged in organising career-focused workshops, seminars, networking sessions, and skill development programmes aimed at improving students’ professional readiness.
The newly elected committee will continue to lead the organisation’s activities for the upcoming term. A S M Mashroor Raihan Sakib has been elected President, while Syeda Samia Ashraf will serve as General Secretary.
Other key positions include Vice President (Administration) Abu Shama Jumayel and Vice President (Operations) Afia Anjum Prova, along with other office bearers responsible for finance, organisation, communication, publications, corporate affairs, events, HR, IT, and learning and development.
Outgoing committee members handed over responsibilities during the ceremony, reflecting on their tenure and sharing experiences with the incoming leadership.
In their remarks, the newly elected President emphasised teamwork and collective responsibility in achieving the club’s goals. The General Secretary highlighted plans to strengthen opportunities for student development and industry engagement under the club’s motto, “Build Thyself, Serve the Nation.”
The ceremony concluded with optimism for continued student engagement and professional development activities under the new executive committee.
