Jahangirnagar University student Khalid Ahsan Nabid’s startup, KOFFRUIT Life, has served more than 500 customers since launching its first product in September 2026, as the venture expands production to meet growing demand for its healthy snack offerings.

The startup sold 350 units of its first product, KOFF BITE, on launch day on 1 September, exhausting its initial stock within a day. It temporarily stopped accepting new orders for around 11 days to expand production before returning to the market on 22 September, according to a press release.

KOFFRUIT Life offers two products: KOFF BITE, a snack bar containing 130 calories and 8 grams of protein, priced at Tk30, and KOFF BREW, a zero-caffeine product sold in 100-gram jars for Tk450. The startup aims to make healthier alternatives more accessible to mass-market consumers in Bangladesh.

According to figures shared by Nabid, the company is approaching Tk2 lakh in monthly revenue, with approximately 44% of its customers placing another order within a week. It is expanding production through a new facility in Islamnagar, near Jahangirnagar University, to meet rising demand.

The venture has received Tk30,000 in pre-seed funding through the University Innovation Hub Program (UIHP) and was later selected for Tk1 lakh in seed funding from the programme. It was also named a finalist in the SME Foundation’s business plan competition, which received around 1,200 startup ideas, and selected by the University of Dhaka’s Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (ICE) Center as one of 41 ventures from approximately 560 applicants.

The startup’s founding team includes Nabid as chief executive officer, Tahsin Shahriyar Omio as chief operating officer, Tasmiya Khatun as head of production and Sabiha Tasnim as production manager. Omio subsequently invested Tk97,500 at a reported valuation of Tk17 lakh. The team also includes chief storyteller Moortoza Mahin, five employees and four interns.

“We have been overwhelmed by the heartwarming response from our customers since the launch of our first product, KOFF BITE. At this point, we are expanding our production capacity with a new production setup in Islamnagar, near Jahangirnagar University, to meet the growing demand,” said Mahin, a second-year Marketing student at Jahangirnagar University.

Nabid said his experiences growing up with a physical disability had strengthened his determination to build the business.

“I have never allowed it to define the limits of my dreams. I will not stop until people recognise me not for my disability, but as a successful entrepreneur. In sha Allah, I will keep going until I establish KOFFRUIT Life as one of Bangladesh’s leading healthy snack brands,” he said.
