Presidency University launches ‘Admission Fest, Fall 2026’
Presidency University has launched its “Admission Fest, Fall-2026”, offering prospective students admission-fee waivers and scholarships for the upcoming academic session.
The festival was formally inaugurated on the university campus at 11am on 16 August, according to a press release.
Presidency University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Md Abdul Mannan Chowdhury inaugurated the festival.
Presidency University Board of Trustees Principal Adviser Professor Dr Md Anwarul Kabir and Registrar Md Sakir Hossain attended the inauguration ceremony.
School of Engineering Dean Professor Dr Shahidul Islam Khan; School of Business Dean Professor Abul Kalam; School of Law Dean Professor Mohammad Azharul Islam; Controller of Examinations Mohammad Zahedur Rahman; and University Proctor Md Anisur Rahman were also present.
Heads of departments, faculty members, officials, employees and students attended the programme.
Admission Fest, Fall-2026 Member Secretary and Presidency University Deputy Director and Head of Admission and Public Relations Jahid Hasan hosted the event.
During the festival, prospective students are being offered waivers of up to 75% on admission fees.
The university is also offering a special 10% scholarship on tuition fees and merit-based scholarships of up to 100%.
Students enrolling during the festival will receive gifts, including a Presidency University flagship bag, a T-shirt and a Grand Gift Box.
Prospective students will also have access to admission-related information and guidance throughout the festival.
Academic and career counselling will be available to help them make informed decisions about their higher education and future careers.
Presidency University said it had established itself as a recognised higher education institution over the past 22 years, with a focus on research and career-oriented education.
The university has digitalised classrooms, advanced laboratory facilities, high-speed internet, dedicated student zones and a well-equipped library.
It said these facilities supported its efforts to prepare internationally competitive and future-ready graduates.
