Private University Public Relations Officers Association (PUPROA), in collaboration with CoNexus AI & AdTech, organised the “Meta Training Session 2026” on 16 May 2026 at the Conference Hall of the Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh (APUB) in Dhaka.

The training session aimed to strengthen the digital communication and branding capabilities of university public relations professionals through the effective use of Meta platforms for stakeholder engagement and strategic advertising.

The programme was attended by PUPROA members and advisers, including President Abu Mia Akand (Tuhin), General Secretary Abu Sadat, Vice President Muhammad Imtiaz, and Adviser Belal Ahmed, alongside representatives from several private universities including North South University, East West University, Southeast University, University of Asia Pacific, BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology, IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, International Standard University, Presidency University, Sonargaon University, Eastern University, and APUB.

The lead resource person for the session was Tithi Chowdhury, Partner Director, AdTech at CoNexus AI & AdTech and former Meta Client Partner Lead. The training focused on Meta’s user ecosystem in Bangladesh, advertising payment systems, credit enablement, community building and personalisation, campaign optimisation, and digital communication strategies for higher education institutions.

At the conclusion of the programme, participants received certificates of participation from CoNexus AI & AdTech. Tokens of appreciation were also presented to Tithi Chowdhury, Mehedi Hasan Imon, Client Partner at CoNexus AI & AdTech, and Mahfuz Ahmed, AVP and Senior Manager at City Bank PLC and former Meta Senior Account Manager, in recognition of their contributions to the training session.

PUPROA leaders highlighted the growing importance of digital proficiency in modern university public relations and thanked CoNexus AI & AdTech for supporting the professional development initiative.
