Stamford University launches Admission Fair Summer 2026 with fee waivers and scholarships
Stamford University Bangladesh has launched its Admission Fair Summer 2026, offering prospective students the opportunity to enrol in 29 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across 14 departments under five faculties.
The fair was inaugurated by Professor Dr Farahnaaz Feroz, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Stamford University Bangladesh. Among those present were Professor Dr Sharif Nafe As-Saber, vice chancellor; Professor Dr Md Ziaul Hasan, treasurer; Professor Dr Mrityunjoy Acharjee, proctor; Muhammad Abdul Matin, registrar; Professor Dr Ahmad Kamruzzaman Majumder, convener of the admission fair and dean of the Faculty of Science; Mohammad Motaher Hossain, director of the Finance Department; Prodeepto Mobarook, head of the Public Relations Division; and Md Ashik Mahmud, acting head of the Admission Department. Deans, department heads, faculty members and university officials also attended the event.
During the Admission Fair Summer 2026, prospective students will receive a 50 per cent waiver on admission fees along with free admission forms.
Interested applicants can visit the Admission Office at Stamford University Bangladesh’s campus at 51 Siddeshwari Road, Ramna, Dhaka. Admission details and online application facilities are available on the university’s official website, while further information can be obtained through the university’s admission helpline.
Stamford University Bangladesh offers research-oriented and career-focused education supported by modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, free internet access, student facilities, playgrounds and a well-equipped library. The university’s permanent campus is currently under construction, with academic activities already underway on a limited scale.
The university is offering admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Applications, Environmental Science, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Law, Business Administration, English, Economics, Journalism and Media Studies, Film and Media, and Public Administration.
The university is also introducing new UGC-approved programmes in Theatre Studies, Applied Nutrition and Food Technology, and Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology. In addition, the Stamford Institute on Addiction and Rehabilitation is launching a Master of Addiction and Rehabilitation Studies programme.
Students may also enrol in Japanese, Russian and IELTS preparation courses.
Stamford University Bangladesh is offering scholarships of up to 100 per cent for meritorious students based on their SSC and HSC results.
