University of Scholars hosts Career Fest 2026

The University of Scholars successfully hosted its largest career event to date, the NextJobz Presents University of Scholars Career Fest 2026, on Saturday, 24 January. Held at the Banani Block B Park, the event transformed the venue into a vibrant hub of professional energy and aspiration, marking a significant milestone in the university’s history.

The festival was organised collaboratively by the Scholar Career Center, Scholar Influencers Club, Scholar Business Club, and the University of Scholars Alumni Association. Designed to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world, the event provided a platform for more than 3,500 students to engage directly with industry leaders.

A Landmark Gathering of Industry Leaders

The fest featured 30 prominent national and international organisations, including Ha-Meem Group, Dabur, United Group, Tally, Go Bangla, and Steadfast, as well as various media houses and corporate brands. With over 300 job vacancies available, students participated in on-the-spot CV screenings and job-matching sessions.

Fostering Skills and Confidence

Beyond recruitment, the event emphasised learning and career development. A highlight was the panel discussion “Navigating the Future Workforce”, focusing on skill development and professional growth.

The session was moderated by Nur a Alam Mishad, Lecturer and BBA Coordinator, Department of Business, University of Scholars. Panel speakers included:

  • Tarif Mohammed Khan, Head of Comms at DIVC and National Mentor & Coach at Accelerating Bangladesh
  • Jubaer Alnazi, Founder & CEO of Axiler
  • Rizvan Hasan, Country Head, Bangladesh at Reverse Resources
  • Ahsanur Rahman, Partner Director, Google at Aleph Group Inc.

The panel addressed trends in the evolving global job market and highlighted initiatives for creating safe and empowering opportunities for female students, ensuring inclusivity for all future professionals.

Strategic Partnerships

The success of the event was supported by NextJobz as the title sponsor, with the Young Professionals Association of Bangladesh (YPAB) as strategic partner and Excellence Bangladesh as associate partner. Additional partners included Kangaroo Global Bangladesh, B-Fresh Education Consultancy, and Nescafé as the refreshment partner. National media outlets, including Kaler Kantho, The Business Standard, and Jamuna TV, provided extensive coverage.
