Southeast University’s School of Law held a rally on campus to mark National Constitution Day 2026 and commemorate the adoption of Bangladesh’s Constitution by the Constituent Assembly on 4 November, 1972.

This year’s theme was “Democracy, Rule of Law and Ensuring Human Rights are the Core Spirit of Our Constitution”, according to the press release.

Vice-Chancellor Yusuf Mahbubul Islam and Pro-Vice-Chancellor M Mofazzal Hossain led the rally alongside Farhana Helal Mehtab, dean of the School of Law, and Air Commodore Muhammad Mushtaqur Rahman (LPR), registrar of the university.

Teachers and students from the Department of Law took part. The School of Law organises the rally annually to raise public awareness of the Constitution and the role of constitutional principles in nation-building.
